Benjamin Islands to Vidal Bay anchorage Mon. July 18, 2022 Posted on July 19, 2022 by Blue Yonder A view of the anchorage from one of my guide books. Blue Yonder with a few other boats in the So. Benjamin Island cove. Another calm day with little winds or waves. On to our next anchorage for the night. Heard over the radio warnings of strong winds for the evening so we chose a strategic cove. Another map showing our small bay, Vidal Bay, to anchor protecting us from the projected southwesterly winds. Also Vidal Bay positioned us for our cruise through Mississagi Strait on our way to Michigan the next day. The guide book gives suggestions as to where to ⚓ anchor. We were all alone in the beautiful bay.
So that looks so inviting to go water skiing! Glad you enjoyed it!
Yes. Amazing how calm! Water-skiing is on our minds, too.
