Due to staff illness and shortage more than 20 boats are waiting for the Big Chute Marine Railway Lock to open.We took the dingy off the upper patio of Blue Yonder.Found a boat access only restaurant and enjoyed the ambience and the lunch on the patio on this sunny day.Beautiful scenery along the way. Later in the afternoon we enjoyed a swim in a cove nearby. It was 75 degree water and actually refreshing. Later we invited some new friends over for “docktails”.All of us boaters at Big Chute are hoping for passage tomorrow as we have heard Georgian Bay is the jewel!Let’s hope Big Chute is operating tomorrow.
