3 Rivers’ Anchorage to Tensaw Anchorage – 26 miles Tues. Nov. 8, ’22

Our neighbor boat got underway after diving to untangle a line.
We were dealing with our bow anchor caught under a tree trunk. Freed the anchor and were met with barges all morning.
This barge was carrying hazardous chemicals.
Sandy banks and trees. 🌲
Commercial work seen along the banks.
Many logs to dodge along the rivers. That is how our prop bent.
Dredging happening – which is an ongoing project.
Our beautiful wide Tensaw River anchorage off the Mobile River.
Enjoying the peaceful River away from the barges. Ready to head into Dog River Marina tomorrow to change out our bent prop.
A short restful day to prepare for our run tomorrow to Mobile.

  1. Thanks for your posts. Does dredging make the river deeper and wider?

Interesting about what is transported on the rivers… from building supplies to chemicals!

Hope the prop replacement process goes well. 🙂
