Bashi Creek to 3 Rivers’ Anchorage Mon. Nov. 7, 2022 – 82 miles & Coffeeville Lock

Last lock until crossing Lake Okeechobee. 95 locks so far!
Nice morning. One of 5 barges today.
Seeing many more sand dunes as we get closer to Mobile.
Nice houses.
Railroad bridge – up for us.
John working hard to keep boat ship shape.
Our anchorage for the night. Narrow river, but out of the way of the barges! Lots of commercial activity here with the Mississippi River so low! Three large boats fit snugly. John put out a stern line – tied it to a tree to keep us straight with the tides changing now … back to following the tides.
Baege passing northbound right in front of our river channel..

  1. Neat seeing another railroad bridge. It seems the middle section was raised up?

Super how you keep the boat in tip top shape.

  2. 95 locks! Wow, when you finish, you’ll have to get t-shirts with the total number of locks done. 🙂

    Beautiful fall days!
