Made up time with the Mississippi 3 mph current and went a whopping 117 miles for a 10 hour day. Anchoring near Cairo, IL. for tonight.Oct. 18, 2022. Kelsi & Keri are 40 years young today! Happy Birthday !Leaving the lock anchorage for an early start this morning. Met two barges.Something went wrong !Beautiful colors.Lots of bends in the River meeting barges – challenging.When we were in Michigan in July. Beautiful days. Lake Michigan yesterday and Lake Michigan when we were there. Respect the Great Lakes and watch the weather! Turning off the Mississippi River tomorrow onto the Ohio River to Paducah, KY..

Michigan was gorgeous when we were there and we really enjoyed the beaches, boutiques, history, wineries and scenic areas.
