Made it to St. Louis! Left our safe, protected anchorage. We anchored in Willow, but this explains the elbow off the River to provide protection from barges to anchor for the night.First thing in the morning…2 barges…Beautiful day. Mel’s River Restaurant….a barge side tie if you eat dinner here.Saw a boat in the campground off the river.Many more houses as we approach St. Louis.Another car ferry.Entering the Mighty Mississippi! Duck blinds in the channel water.BIG barges on the Mississippi. We met 3 more in quick succession. Clark Highway Bridge.Blue Yonder all snug in her covered slip.
