Love all of these beautiful photos!! Exciting adventures keep coming! The Great Lakes are like being out in the ocean!! I have been in Lake Michigan and Lake Huron on my dads boat 25 years ago… David was 10 Yrs… but the water was very cold for swimming!!
This is a wonderful retirement adventure for us. Who would have known in our old college sailing days we would be doing the American Great Loop? The water and air temperatures are sometimes the same…60’s. We would say the water is “refreshing”.
Finally got a chance to catch up with your adventure. Lot’s of word could describe your adventure. We choose AWESOME. Thank goodness for your demonstrated skill. Keep up the good work.
Thanks! It’s been quite an educational experience! Love the ports of call, talking to the locals who are so proud of their towns, the friendly boaters willing to share tips and parts if needed and the ever-present weather, for most of the trip so far has been very favorable. We feel very fortunate.
