Leland, Michigan – Mon. Aug. 15, 2022 Posted on August 16, 2022August 16, 2022 by Blue Yonder Second day to enjoy “Fishtown” . Historic Fishtown Leland Township Marina cleared out by about 9 a.m. Twenty new boats were expected by 2 p.m. Blue Yonder here for another day. Nice and calm with the sun shining. An opportunity for a bike ride around the area. We rode a nice loop ride around Lake Leelanau. Stopped for lunch at Fiddleheads halfway around the 15 mile loop. Michigan has great smoked trout and whitefish fresh daily… Delicious cherries, peaches, lovely wineries and also beaches… No. Michigan is on the 45th latitude parallel- halfway point from the North Pole and the Equator. It’s beautiful here in the summer with almost 16 hours of sunlight. We’ve enjoyed it. Amphibious car in ths marina. Sunset. On to Frankfort, Michigan tomorrow.
What a great day! Spectacular weather. Never seen an amphibious car before. Can it drive itself up the boat ramp? Reply
