Sounds like you are making good use of the extra time there – exploring, meeting new people and keeping that amazing attitude you have! We are watching the situation at Big Chute as we enter the Erie Canal. 9 locks yesterday!! Hugs to you both!!
Nine locks is really moving along! Good work. Yes, we can only “control” so much…so we all here seem to have made the best of the reality…this soon will pass…Hugs to you both!
We are doing the best we can in this uncontrollable situation. We have had a chance to meet many nice boaters from all over. Maybe this Wed we can move along.
Thanks, Ed & Alice. Still waiting at Big Chute…maybe until Wednesday, July 13th. Labor dispute is the real story…Making the most of it. Swimming, dingy rides, small restaurants to visit and get-togethers fill our days.

Inspiring how positive you all are and are making the best of it with lock tails! 🙂
So you’ll be on your way!!
A true “Lock down” Yes… So more of the amazing same…dingy ride, swim, restaurant meal for late lunch, visiting other boaters…actually lots of fun.
Just a little more adventure than you were exception. Continue to enjoy. One heck of a story to tell some day.
So adventurous and positive attitude!
