Tues. May 18, 2021 Savannah to Beaufort, SC 54 miles

Good weather, careful of the tides, lots of boating activity..Disabled boat caused a lot of havoc. Coast Guard involved, small channel, barge approaching…lots of radio chatter due to hazard. We noticed extraordinary long piers from houses due to tides.

Beaufort, SC is a historic town full of well preserved homes, cute shops, beautiful waterfront park. Enjoyed a great dinner at the Old Bull Tavern.

  1. Been many years since we have been to Beaufort SC.
Took the driving tour seeing many homes.
East coast has lots of interesting history.
Am I doing the blog correctly?

  2. Hey John & Ann, great to talk with you guys during supper at the Old Bull Tavern. Afterwards, we walked down on the waterfront and seen your boat at the end of the dock – she’s a beauty! Hope you guys have safe voyages and God bless and protect you.

    1. Thank you. So nice to meet you both, also. Lots of common interests! What a terrific unassuming restaurant with delicious food. All the best to you and yours.
