June 24, 2022 45 mi across Lake Ontario Oswego, NY to Kingston, Canada across Lake Ontario Passed the Oswego Lighthouse Entering into Kingston, Canada channel Wind farms dot Wolfe Island Ferry pulled by underwater cable – notice on the bow the cable. Don’t pass in front of the ferry while underway. Found an ideal anchorage cove waiting for our marina reservation Sun and Mon. Simcoe Island, Lucas Point. Lots of day boats enjoying the day anchored near the beach. John setting the snubber line on the anchor to keep the anchor chain away from the boat and centered. We enjoyed the clean, clear water. Used Blue Yonder’s swim step for our 1st time swimming. 68 degree water was refreshing for us. Water skier giving us a show…1950’s style. Sunset off our stern. Kingston in the distance. Tomorrow 2 nights to enjoy Canada’s 1st Capitol. Kingston was a French fur trading in the 1600’s.
