Cruising from Marsh Harbor to Treasure Cay
Here we are relative to Florida.
As we left Marsh Harbor, a vessel 230 feet was entering the commercial channel. It appeared to have containers for resupplying the Island. Marsh Harbor was busy with commercial boats, ferries and has a busy international airport.
We entered the narrow, shallow channel into Treasure Cay to find a large deep anchorage area with 4 or so boats. This one is a sleek, fast trihaul catamaran.
Took the dingy around the area to see the homes. Some are still in the rebuilding stage since Hurricane Dorian, Sept 1, 2019.
Some are rebuilt, including dock and all.
Then dingied around to the outside harbor area to visit the beach. Soft, white sand is everywhere. Grateful to enjoy these beautiful islands.
Great days on the water!!
Sleek catamaran. Did you race them? 🙂
Interesting seeing the port activity. There are many of those barges off the coast of Singapore.
We see the barges often supplying the Islands. I just sailed when I was younger. No racing experience… not yet…
So beautiful!! Soft white sand, blue waters, vast horizon.
Beautiful beaches, soft sand, blue water.
