Stuart, FL to Palm Beach, FL 34 mi Mon. May 1, 2023

Nice sunny day to position for tomorrow ‘s Bahama crossing. Went under 7 bridges, cruised through natural areas, past bridge construction, dredging, cruised by the PGA golf course, restaurants and beautiful homes.

Kayakers enjoying the morning.

We aim for the middle, which gives us 3 extra feet. Can pass slowly under a 23′ foot bridge with our antennas down. Helps when low tide. Always cautious – signage on bridge or information may be incorrect.

Locals enjoying the sand bar.

Bridge construction.

PGA golf course in Palm Beach.

Found a nice anchorage cove with plenty of room. Dingied to Belle’s Restaurant in the marina for lunch.

Enjoyed the day. Excited for tomorrow’s adventure. Grateful for this opportunity.

  1. Fun day cruising! Lots of sights- bridges, kayaker, sand bar stop, golf, homes.
How was the Swell? Fish and chips?

  2. Lovely cruise and sights.
Yikes about some incorrect signage on the bridges! Did you realize that the hard way one time?

On your app, can you see where sand bars are?

Have a swell cruise tomorrow! 🙂

    1. We are always cross referencing when we go under bridges since information and tides change heights. We have not hit …yet…go around the block enough, anything can happen…but we hope to stay vigilant…
