Midway Marina in Fulton, MS to Columbus, MS Tues. Nov. 1, 2022

Beautiful sunrise this morning. We enjoyed a 5 day break home in Peachtree City, GA near Atlanta to vote, pay property taxes, and visit with neighbors.
A flotilla of eight pleasure boats headed to the first lock of the day, Fulton Lock.
The first of three locks, Fulton, Wilkins and Amory were done quickly. We had become a flotilla of 11 boats by now.
Nice, peaceful day on the Tenn Tombigbee.
Careful of turbulence from the dam after existing the lock.
Enjoying the nice day on the flybridge.

Last lock of the day, Aberdeen, the 4th lock,, needed a little maintenance. We were eventually able to lock through. Made it to Columbus Marina, but sunset had just arrived. Glad to have made it safely.

  1. Good work going through 4 locks! Big day!
Nice to have company with the flotilla and the Tombigbee river looks beautiful.

    1. Four locks was a long day! We did two today which is more manageable and are anchored instead of a marina. Everday has an element of surprise. Thanks for following along.
