Muskegon Lake to Grand Haven, Michigan Tues. Aug. 23, 2022 Posted on August 24, 2022 by Blue Yonder Sunrise this morning at 7:08 a.m. Winds calmed down and provided a restful, quiet anchorage. Freighter and tug left this morning. Leaving Muskegon Lake. Calm winds & waves on Lake Michigan. Getting close to our channel entrance in Grand Haven. Keeping “Red” on the right into port. Two bridges to pass once into the harbor. A swinging railroad bridge and a 15 foot highway bridge. We had to wait until the half hour every hour for the drawbridge to open. We met a trawler and barge/tug boat in the bridge. Blue Yonder at the linear dock at Grand Isle Marina.
Gorgeous sunrise and blue skies and water! Good job sailing!
Blue Yonder is a beauty.
Thank you. We are enjoying our 2006 Kadey-Krogen Trawler.
