Started our day timing an hourly bridge…if you make it you go, if you don’t – you wait another hour.
Then we saw another one of many long piers…honey, I forgot the sunscreen…please…
We passed a camp ground which was full of folks enjoying the Waterway.
We saw many osprey nests all along the Waterway markers.
Here are the very important to us- dredging equipment- that keeps the shoaling from making the Waterway too shallow.
We arrived at our anchorage site for the night near the marine base, Camp Lejeune. What did we see? More Osprey…Marine style..
For the evening we invited on our patio deck, Treble in Paradise, the boat we were following all day long for “docktales”.
Making friends along the way.
Looks like many are out enjoying
A beautiful summer-like weekend.
Okay on the ospreys. Both kinds.
Turned on our air conditioning to
Cool. High 80’s here. Atlanta 90’s
Pollen everywhere almost over.
Am enjoying your new Adventure.
Sounds like lake time for you, Shirley. Enjoy.

Thanks, Debbi. We are seeing places from a different angle. Lots of comraderie in the boating community.
