Sailboat ran aground just after the lock opened to leave…7 ‘ draft…going fast with his motor…word has it — stuck for 2 hours…Dredging was going on…Just afterLock 19 was so shallow … only 2 feet extra for us…Free wall – no water or power or bath houses…but free. Got the last spot on the high wall…at the diagonal which set us apart from the rest. Saw this in the Canal View Restaurant…shrimp special- Wed night…
