Northwinds but sunny skies made a 58 mile journey pleasant. Saw a few more stranded boats and beautiful homes and docks along the way. Passed Jacksonville Naval shipyard. Arrived to our first mooring ball. Took the dingy into town. Enjoyed a pirate’s punch at the oldest saloon in Florida.

Fernandina Beach is a great town with Fort Clinch to visit and a nice beach, too.
