Left Skull Creek Marina, Blue Yonder’s home since June 8th, 2023. Cruising our way to Solomon’s, MD for our trawler group, Kadey-Krogen, and its’ big yearly rendez-vous.
Enjoyed walking around town. Eating dinner at the Old Bull Tavern was one of the highlights as well as seeing the historic homes. Blue Yonder is seen from the swinging bridge, in the evening, at the end of the linear dock.
Exciting trip ahead! Beautiful pictures of historic South Carolina mansions and trees.
We’re excited to be back on the Seas with Blue Yonder.
Fun to see your travels resume!
Love the grand South.
For the bridge, is it too low for bridges to pass under? So it’s opening up?
Yes, the swinging bridge opens when a sailboat or other high air draft vessel needs it opened. Sometimes on a schedule like 2 X an hour, others on request. We can make it under with 23′ clearance.
