Bike rode the 3 mile Island to visit New Plymouth, 1786 when Loyalists started a new colony.
Some houses have not been rebuilt since Hurricane Dorian 2019…and Covid…
Fortunately the grocery store has been rebuilt.
Today the supply ship came in…lots of golf carts waiting for their goods…
Had to visit Pineapples, the bar noted in our boating guide as a popular spot..
Rum drinks this time – Plymouth Punch and Pineapple Smash…
Nice to be on land and see a small historic community!
Supplies seem limited! Curious, did you take a peek into Sid’s to see what was stocked?
Yes, it’s fun to see the towns. Sid’s grocery store had the basics so we picked up some fresh local eggs.
Fun biking! Was it a 3 mile loop to town?
It was a good 3 mile bike ride with a few little hills. Lots of golf carts used for getting around the island. It is not really a loop but straight forward and then return.
